Position Details
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Working Hours: 09:00–18:00
- Location: Dongtan (Hwaseong) or Gwanggyo (Suwon)
- Start Date: ASAP/September 2026
- Teaching Hours: Maximum of 26 hours per week
Compensation & Benefits
- Elementary Salary: 2.5 KRW and up (negotiable based on education and years of experience)
- Vacation: 3 weeks (1 week in summer & 2 weeks in winter) + 2 paid sick days
- Housing: housing provided or housing allowance of 500,000 KRW
Qualifications & Requirements
- E-2 or F-series visa holder (E-2 visa sponsorship available)
- Bachelor’s degree (3–4 years minimum)
- At least 2 years of teaching experience
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement syllabus, unit plans, rubrics, and weekly lesson plans aligned with GCIS academic standards
- Assign consistent homework and provide timely, constructive feedback
- Design assessments, projects, and evaluations that foster student growth
- Communicate proactively with parents regarding student progress
- Prepare termly progress reports and report cards
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school-wide events
- Attend Parent–Teacher Conferences and other GCIS community programs
