POSITION: Full time Native English Teacher for Secondary School

The Secondary English Department of Shanghai Korean School is looking for qualified EFL teachers, to begin mid-August , 2026.

Candidates must be able to work Mon—Fri 8:00am to 4:00pm. Teachers are responsible for up to 22 teaching hours per week with the remaining time being devoted to lesson planning and departmental duties. Classes are 45-50 minutes in length. Our school is located in the international school district of Min Hang District, Songze Avenue Road metro line 17. (Bus routes are changeable)

Qualifications and Experience:

- Minimum Baccalaureate University degree (Education or English preferred) which can be provided in original copy and authenticated
- CELTA , TESOL or TEFL certificate
- Must be a passport holder of one of the following countries as per Chinese work visa requirements (UK, US, Canada, New Zealand, Australia or South Africa)

- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in secondary school preferred

Salary and Benefits:

- Monthly salary is non-negotiable. Details:
- 20K+ RMB basic salary plus:
- 7400 housing allowance paid every 3 months unless the spouse is funded a housing allowance
- Qualification raise based on degree and certificates up to 1K
- Free school lunch and free use of school buses depending on the route
- Two bonuses provided each year in accordance with school policy
- Annual holiday bonus paid once per year
- Performance bonus paid annually according to the school’s performance bonus payment plan
- Fully paid summer & winter holiday (4-5 weeks each)
- Work Visa/ FEC provided
